The Academy of Leadership is part of the University of Maryland School of Public Policy and partners with the school in a number of programs listed on this web site.
The School of Public Policy is a graduate school of policy analysis, management, and international affairs dedicated to providing current and future leaders with the knowledge and skills they need to craft and implement public policies in a complex environment. The School of Public Policy is the only policy school in the Washington area to combine domestic and international policy under one roof, and the only area school that is embedded within a major research (Research 1) university, benefiting from close collaborations with top-ranked programs in economics, government, criminology, business, and engineering. The School's faculty includes the 2005 Nobel Laureate in Economics, the current U.S. Trade Representative, a former Director of Central Intelligence, and leading scholars of topics including politics, health care, federal budgeting, international development, and leadership.
